Borussia Dortmund versus Schalke is among the games that will kick off the resumption of German football – the first major country in Europe to allow football to return, albeit behind closed doors.

The return of top-flight football will be a relief to football fans who have been without live football since March.

When will the Bundesliga resume?

The majority of teams have nine games to lay in the Bundesliga, the first of which are scheduled to take place on May 16.

The final weekend of the season has been rescheduled to take place on the weekend of 27-28 June.

Where can I watch the Bundesliga in the UK?

BT Sport have exclusive coverage of live Bundesliga football in the UK.

They have yet to release a schedule of which fixtures they will be showing.

How much does it cost to sign up for BT Sport?

If you are a BT Broadband subscriber you can add BT Sport to your existing bill for £10 a month.

New customers can sign up for a broadband and BT TV subscription for £39.99 a month.
